Community Projects

Drayton Park school where I teach art plus three other primary schools were involved in a project called Noah's Flood Opera.

For this project, I created mono prints with the children and we turned these into headdresses with the help some textile students and women in the community.

I also designed and made the costumes for Mr. and Mrs. Noah with the textiles that the children had screen printed on.

Parents created this quilt with me at the art sessions in Drayton Park School. Our aim was to get parents together and share knowledge and skills without language barriers.

Children at Drayton Park School created these artworks for the Islington Covid-19 testing centre in the Sobel Centre.

These artworks from Drayton Park School are exhibited in the local Cinnamon Cafe in Blackstock Road. I am passionate about taking art to the community. In addition to boosting the childrens' confidence, we raise funds for our school.
